What is straightening?

Get your rim straightened and looking like new

Rim straightening is the intricate process of realigning your rims by pushing out warps and bends that can develop over time, bringing the rim back to its round shape again. If you’ve ever experienced vibration from the steering wheel, tires that deflate quickly, or noticed visible damage to the wheels – you may have a bent rim. Our skilled technicians will carefully inspect your rims and use top-of-the-line equipment to restore them to their original form, ensuring the straightened wheels are safe and closely match the rest of your car.

How does it work?

Because of our detail-oriented approach and extensive experience, you can trust the Leprecon team with your wheels. To achieve outstanding results, our professional mechanics follow the procedure below:

  1. Assess the rims with a highly sensitive instrument to evaluate the precise location and extent of the wheel bend.
  2. Heat the material in the damaged area so the rim softens and can be straightened without compromising the integrity of the material.
  3. Straighten the rims back to the manufacturer’s specifications, using specialized machinery to ensure they’re perfectly round.
